Treatments we offer

Our paediatric OPD (Out Patient Department) is a state-of-the-art section of our hospital where your children are provided medical consultations for any condition. Our specialists are available for a wide variety of health conditions including asthma, allergies, skin conditions and diabetes. We aim to provide a high standard of care to all our families using a multidisciplinary approach.

We focus on the individual needs of each family, providing child-centred assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Parents/carers are involved in all decision making and we aim to respect individual needs such as age and ability. By approaching treatment as a partnership with children and their families, we deliver personalized care using cutting-edge treatment and technology. We also offer extended OPD hours available seven days a week to address the health concerns of your young one.

The birth of a baby is a wonderful yet very complex process. There are many physical and emotional changes that occur for the mother and baby. A baby must make many physical adjustments to life outside the mother’s body. Leaving the uterus means that a baby can no longer depend on the mother’s circulation and placenta for important physiological functions.

Being born prematurely, having a difficult delivery, or birth defects can make these changes more challenging. Fortunately for these babies, special newborn care is available. This sub-speciality of paediatrics is called Neonatology. It is a hospital-based speciality and is usually practised in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).

Bring your little one for a healthy dose at Femiint Kids.

Getting your child vaccinated on time will protect him or her against many preventable diseases. Check with us to see if your child is up to date with all recommended vaccines.

Points to note about immunization:

  • Parents should try to have their children vaccinated according to the schedule. A significant delay in vaccination puts children at risk of the serious diseases the vaccines could prevent.
  • If children miss a vaccine dose, parents should talk to their doctor about catching up with the schedule. Missing a dose does not require children to restart the series of injections from the beginning.

We also run specialized clinics for Paediatric Psychology, Paediatric Endocrinology and Paediatric Dermatology for children right from the toddler stage up to adolescence. We look at your child’s health as a whole, and provide comprehensive solutions for their total well-being. Our Child Psychologists use various techniques including Play Therapy to treat problems that may interfere with a child’s normal development.

Many children have problems related to growth, puberty, diabetes, or other disorders connected to the hormones and the glands that produce them. If you have any concern in this area, please bring your child to our Paediatric Endocrinology clinic. Children are also susceptible to a wide variety of skin disorders including birthmarks, skin infections, dermatitis, melanocytic nevi (moles), genodermatoses (inherited skin disorders), acneiform eruptions, rare forms of skin cancer, drug eruptions, and collagen vascular disorders.
